The brand at Swoosh teams up with Boston shop, Concepts , to revisit the iconic Air Max 1 with the "Message To Universe" collection based on the hippie culture of the 60s.
The Nike Air Max 1 Concepts Mellow reveals a base in faded denim , accompanied by several prints near the heel and all along the vamp. The mudguard green is inspired by the military jackets worn by defenders of peace during festivals such as Woodstock of 1969. Several recalls of Bordeaux on the laces, the Swoosh with floral details and the tongue in velvet contrast with the whole. A cream-colored midsole with speckle patterns as well as an outsole Brown come to refine the design signed Tinker Hatfield.
Collaboration at the top, this new silhouette launches the Air Max Day of Nike for the year 2022 and pays tribute to the artists who participated in the protests against the Vietnam War!
