The pair was released with the original "Chicago" colorway in 1985, which Michael Jordan himself was initially reluctant to wear, as the colors reminded him of "the devil." Nike, in collaboration with Dior, marked 35 years of Air Jordans with the launch of the Air Dior, a luxury model that fuses streetwear and high fashion, celebrated at an event in Miami. Travis Scott, for his part, revisited the Air Jordan 1 with a brown and white leather version, characterized by an inverted swoosh and a small hidden pocket, thus continuing to surprise and expand the reach of these iconic sneakers.
