To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Cortez , Nike is teaming up with Union in a colorway inspired by Los Angeles .

The Nike Cortez Union Sesame reveals a multicolor canvas base. Mainly light brown, this revisited silhouette is topped with suede leather inserts. The side Swoosh comes in pink and matches the front part of the eyelets and the rear tongue on which the Frontman , the logo of Chris Gibbs ' brand, sits in turquoise. The turquoise deubré refers to the history of the model with the inscriptions " Cortez 1972 ", the original release date of the pair. Lower down, the midsole is made of Crater foam while the outsole contains at least 10% Nike Grind material.

Through this variation which represents the cultural diversity of LA, the Beaverton brand and the Californian shop offer a rejuvenated version of a classic.
