Nike Dunk High Varsity Maize
Although the Dunk is today a great success with the Skate community and sneaker enthusiasts, it first took its steps at university. Back in 1985 when Nike released the Be True to Your School pack, in honor of university basketball teams!
The Nike Dunk High Varsity Maize with its yellow and black accents represents the Hawkeyes team. Its black leather base is enhanced by yellow inserts, particularly at the side Swooshes. To enhance the whole, we note old school Nike branding at the top of the tongues.
A cult colorway on one of the pairs of the moment, everything suggests that this reissue is awaited by a large number of fans at the end of the year! Note that an ultra-exclusive iteration in collaboration with the Wu-Tang Clan in 1999 and produced in only 36 copies shook up the emerging sneaker culture of the time.
