The Air Jordan 1 High OG Brotherhood is adorned with a white leather upper enhanced by purple and mustard yellow leather inserts. It takes the color block of the Bred Toe by incorporating the color code of the African-American fraternity Omega Psi Phi founded in 1911 by Ernest Everett Just. Branding such as the Jordan Wings logo on the collar as well as the Nike Air on the tongue feature a mauve shade on a gold background.
